Tucked in the middle of the village of Mabou, the Mabou River Inn offers affordable, comfortable accommodations along the West Coast of Cape Breton.
Open year-round, we have 11 units including 5 rooms with King size beds (2 of which have sofa-beds) and full ensuite bathrooms; 3 rooms with Queen beds and private (not ensuite) bathrooms; and 3 two-bedroom housekeeping suites (apartments).
One of the King rooms and the 3 housekeeping suites each have their own separate entrance while the rest of the rooms are accessed from the main entrance near the dining room.
Guests will enjoy access to our spacious common areas, guest kitchen (in the Inn wing), and a delicious home-cooked breakfast featuring our homemade breads.
Conveniently located on the scenic Ceilidh Trail, guests are just steps away from the famous Red Shoe Pub, hiking, and biking on the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail, groomed snowmobile trails, glorious sandy beaches and a short drive to world-famous golf at Cabot Links & Cabot Cliffs.
